Bob Bateman, Santa's Forest Nursery,
Placentia, CA: "DANIELS is making the
difference across the board: great leaf expansion, more
compact, outstanding color, better root development, a more
toned product. Overall health is great! We're using
DANIELS on everything we grow."

Bill Turner, Van de Wetering Greenhouse,
Long Island, NY: "Vinca arrived chlorotic,
DANIELS let me finish with a remarkably greened-up crop.
Plants were 20% bigger in cyclamen tests. DANIELS:
quicker, easier to mix... less labor... superior crop!"

Ray
Blew, Jr., Centerton Nursery, Bridgton, NJ: "Six-week trial
on 25,000 azaleas... much better color, blooms and size... converted the
entire 1.5 million sq. ft. operation to DANIELS."

Bill Manker, Jr., F.W. Manker Wholesale Growers, Inc.
Greenhouse
Location: East Patchogue, New York (Long Island) (516)-289-5294
Crop: Cut Roses Variety: Kardinal
Feed:
DANIELS 10-4-3 vs Grower's crop specific blend
On September 3,1996 a comparative fertility trial began at
Mankers.
Three contiguous beds of 400 plants each were fedwith equivalent
levels of nitrogen using separate proportioners. Beds #3 and #5
were fed with the growers usual feed andbed #4 was fed with DANIELS
Foliar growers (tissue) and media analyses were performed for
the duration of the trial byDr. Hans L. Helmprecht of Chemical
Consulting of Babylon, (516) 587-0632.
On April 23,1997 the trial concluded and the results tabulated.
Bill Manker stated the roses grown with DANIELS were of higher
quality by several percentage points. Also, most significantly,
when crop counts were totalled for the six month period, beds
#3 and #5 averaged 5,250 stems while bed #4 (crop grown with DANIELS)
produced 6,000 salable stems.... an increase of 14.3%!
Manker Update - September 1997:
Bill Manker, Jr. has converted their entire greenhouse range to
Daniels Plant Food. The six month trial on four hundred plants
has been expanded to 100,000 roses of different varieties (Kardinal,
Royalty, etc...). He expanded the use of Daniels in May and now
has been using Daniels exclusively for about four months. Bill
states Daniels is definitely easier to use. In the past he would
mix up to nine different ingredients to make his stock solution
which took an hour or more and required inventory control. He
now simply mixes Daniels with water and feeds. The results he
is obtaining with Daniels are phenomenal! He also grows snapdragons,
lilies and alstromeria. The foliar and media analyses and the
visual evaluation of his crops (all grown with the same Daniels
10-4-3 formulation) show "they have never been better!".
Bill is ecstatic over how spectacular everything is growing. He
said he had never seen such production and the increased yield
offers tremendous profit. Increased height, greener, thicker canes,
longer length, everything including color being better, much more
vibrant. He has never seen roses regenerate like they do when
fed with Daniels. Ten year old plants are regenerating with 3-5
stems being thrown off at the bottom of these old plants.

Philip Gellweiler, Great Northern Plant Co. Greenhouse
Location:
Vineland, New Jersey (609) 696-2699
Crop:
Poinsettias Variety: Hegg, Supjubi, Petoy-Red and White
Feed: DANIELS 10-4-3 vs Grower's crop specific blend
During the Fall/Winter months of 1996 approximately 10,000 poinsettias were grown with DANIELS and compared with 10,000 grown with the grower's usual feed. Both were grown at a 25O ppm nitrogen rate using separate
proportions in the same greenhouse. Foliar and media analyses were conducted for the duration of the trial. Phil Gellweiler's words were that the crop grown with DANIELS was . . "noticeably better"... than the crop grown with his usual feed.
